A much needed vacation

I must say watching sparatic fireworks shoot into a star-lit night compliments the glow of my lime-green alcoholic beverage traveling between my lips. My best friend sits across from me. His eyes match his drink and his goofy hat seems to be okay this time around. I usually tell him to take it off in public, but for once I see him and feel completley content with the way things are. Even now waves give me vertigo. I still feel sand between my toes. A vacation post describing paradise may seem all but original, but I just can't help but smile when I glance in the mirror at my uneven sunburn. So dorky. Although it may seem hard to believe, I pray every single day. This week two of my most important arguments with the man upstairs were answered. Not only has Caleb recieved an excellent job oppertunity, but my pal Jack called and I no longer have to worry about being homeless this winter. Couch surfing in the cold is no longer an option, and my shoulders feel hollow and weightless. May tomorrow bring me as much joy as today, and no worries Drew, Zooey Dechannel will perform for us upon my return.
